| Long Title: | The Indian Stamp ( Mizoram Amendment) Act, 2023” (Act No. 4 of 2023) (Received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram on 27.02.2023) THE INDIAN STAMP (MIZORAM AMENDMENT) ACT, 2023 (Act No. 4 of 2023) AN ACT Further to amend the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, in its application to the State of Mizoram for the purposes hereinafter appearing, It is enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram in the Seventy Fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement: (1) This Act may be called the Indian Stamp (Mizoram Amendment) Act, 2023. (2) It extends to the whole of Mizoram. (3) It shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette. |
